Remotely adjusts to the appropriate reading height for several speakers. With the regular units, an assistant must manually adjust the stage’s height during the event. The extra brightness and clarity of the text overcomes the stage lighting enabling the speaker to read the text more comfortably and clearly without squinting.
Better for video. As the speaker walks out on stage, the paddles can be down out of sight. The paddles then retract before the performer exits the stage. Thus, it appears in the video that the speaker is not using a prompter.
